Aquesta
setmana encetem l'espai amb el darrer treball de la gran Maria
Schneider , The Thompson Fields. Presentarem també la musica del
gran vibrafonista Valencia Arturo Serra amb dos dels seus treballs
com son Nebulosa i Meets Celia Mur. Seguirem amb un gran del nostres
dies com Roy Hargrove i el seu Aproaching Standards. L'apartat
historic avui fa referencia al gran treball que el 1988 va
enregistrar l'inoblidable Don Cherry anomenat Art Deco i tancarem amb
un moment també històric de la nostra música de la ma de Duke
Ellington el Novembre i Decembre del 1946 quan va enregistrar, entre
d'altres, el celebre tall «Trumpet no End» arranjat per la gran
Mary Lou Williams inspirant-se amb la progressió d'acords del
clàssic de Irving Berling «Blue Skies»
